Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the monthly close process, general ledger accounting, and related reconciliations for a multi-channel business that includes manufacturing, wholesale, retail stores, and e-commerce. This on-site position is located at our corporate office in Redmond, Washington. Key duties include: Close and general ledger: prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries for the monthly close; maintain and reconcile related general ledger accounts; help develop new processes and controls for improved efficiency and accuracy. Cash and banking: reconcile cash accounts and post daily cash journal entries; record bank activity and address issues to ensure proper month-end reconciliation. Inventory: update inventory costing in NetSuite; maintain inventory item records (SKU/UPC/names) and create new item builds when necessary; reconcile physical inventory, supervise inventory counts, review inventory flow in NetSuite, and plan counts with assistance from the Finance department; prepare documents for weekly NetSuite inventory adjustments and inventory levels. Revenue systems and e-commerce: assist with maintaining and updating the point-of-sale system; monitor the flow of transactions between POS and accounting systems and reconcile monthly. Tax, compliance, and lender reporting: prepare and update property tax filings; prepare documents for federal tax filings; prepare documents for the line of credit borrowing base for bank review.
