Lyft is seeking a Software Engineer to help design, build, and integrate the platform that powers the ride experience. Responsibilities include designing roadmaps and architecture to meet rapidly evolving technology and business needs; improving and implementing new microservices and enhancing the quality, performance, and monitoring of the company’s microservice APIs; developing and directing software testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation; identifying, triaging, debugging, and resolving issues across the company’s applications and platforms; and managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; at least 6 months of experience in software development; experience with object-oriented programming, machine learning, and AI; experience with web technologies, DynamoDB, and at least one of C, C++, Java, Go, or Python; experience with frontend and backend languages, relational databases, and schema design; and strong knowledge of data structures or algorithms.
