We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the efood Engineering Department and help deliver a seamless and personalized ordering experience for our users. This role sits within the Delivery Hero Group, and you will design and build new backend services and features, owning the full software lifecycle from design to deployment and monitoring. You will work on high-traffic systems and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to turn requirements into shippable software. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of experience in microservices development, strong knowledge of languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C#, and experience with relational and non-relational databases. Excellent problem-solving skills, communication in Greek and English, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset are essential. Nice-to-have: experience with cloud providers (AWS a plus) and Agile environments.
