We are seeking a Software Developer to join our Dubai-based team building a state-of-the-art telematics platform that processes data from custom hardware. You will write high-performance Java, Python, and Go code and SQL queries to process and store data in real time, and you will develop fast, responsive user interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript. You will work closely with other members of the development and technical teams in a flat, entrepreneurial environment, stay highly organized, and adapt to changing priorities. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to problem-solve and manage multiple tasks, and the willingness to contribute to design discussions and documentation. Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, peer reviewing, troubleshooting, and participating in prototypes and proofs of concept. You will provide technical assistance to support staff and resellers and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotating schedule. Requirements include 1–5 years of related experience, a degree in computer science or software engineering, knowledge of multiple general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and experience with Python, Google Compute Engine, and Google BigQuery, plus cloud experience with GCP, AWS and/or Azure.
