Overview Join SiriusXM AdsWizz as a Senior Staff Software Engineer to help design and scale backend systems for a premier digital audio advertising platform. You will work with a high-performing team to deliver reliable services and drive architectural decisions.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems for AdsWizz products deployed in enterprise environments. - Lead architecture discussions and planning sessions. - Collaborate with multiple engineering teams in a collaborative development process. - Take ownership of tasks and drive projects forward with clarity and direction. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a constructive, direct, and high-performing culture. - Partner with Product and Global Operations teams to define scope and ensure smooth deployments and on-call readiness. - Participate in technical interviewing and contribute to growing talent.

What you’ll need - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. - 8+ years of software engineering experience in Java (preferably JDK17+). - 4+ years of experience building microservices and scalable products on cloud platforms (preferably AWS). - Strong understanding of RESTful API design, API security, and versioning. - Proficiency with SpringBoot (or Dropwizard), Hibernate, RxJava/WebFlux; relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL); caching (Redis/Memcached); messaging (Kafka). - Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and o
