Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant

The Opportunity Adobe is seeking a Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant to own the end-to-end design and implementation of revenue-related systems and infrastructure. This role partners with multiple stakeholders across Revenue Assurance, Accounting Operations, Technology Services, FP&A, Product Teams, Legal, and Order Management to ensure the accuracy and consistency of external and internal financial accounting and reporting data within a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

What you'll do - Support and backfill the Revenue Accounting and Operations daily tasks - Monitor and troubleshoot key health metrics for revenue accounting systems (SAP S/4HANA) - Coordinate with teams across Revenue Accounting and Assurance to understand accounting guidance and system behavior - Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance on GTM initiatives, evaluating risks and impacts on revenue systems and supporting launches - Create and test revenue-related data models - Manage projects from requirements gathering through Production Acceptance Testing (PAT); familiarity with agile methods is preferred - Drive large-scale planning processes involving multiple business partners - Maintain high attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications - BA/BS in Finance or Accounting - 3–5 years of related experience (software industry and/or CPA firm experience preferred) - Knowledge of ASC 606 and other revenue recognition guidance, with emphasis on software/SAAS - Experience
