AEI Consultants is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Building Assessment division. The primary focus is leading and managing Capital Planning and Equity Assessment projects, delivering data-driven long-term capital expenditure strategies to help clients make informed investment and asset management decisions. Travel may be regional, national, or international to support an expanding portfolio. Secondary duties include performing Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) on existing commercial properties, monitoring construction and renovation projects, and supporting energy and ADA audit initiatives. The Senior Project Manager will oversee a diverse portfolio of properties, evaluate physical condition and remaining useful life of building systems, and develop actionable capital expenditure forecasts and reserve planning recommendations. Strong technical writing, field photography, and cost estimating skills are essential for communicating findings and budgets. Responsibilities also include identifying construction risks, documenting site conditions, researching public records, reviewing schedules and payments, and coordinating with clients and senior staff to deliver timely, high-quality reports. Requirements: minimum 5 years of PCA experience; bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management; PE or RA preferred; proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook; willingness to travel.
