Senior Platform DevOps Engineer. You will join a fast-growing scale-up delivering cloud services to global enterprises and drive automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment improvements, and platform reliability across AWS, Kubernetes, and related technologies. Responsibilities include initiating and driving adoption of best practices for development and operations, automating processes where beneficial, monitoring and improving CI/CD pipelines to increase speed, safety and reliability, coordinating implementations with involved parties, and maintaining GitLab CI pipeline libraries. You will assist developers with setting up CI/CD for their projects, provide support for issues, stay up to date with the latest tools and trends, and offer senior-level recommendations for Windows, Linux and Kubernetes hosting environments. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, educating development teams about the platforms used, and collaborating with the Security team to remediate high-risk vulnerabilities. Key tools and concepts include GitLab, Docker, AWS, Terraform, Istio Service Mesh, Kubernetes, Kafka, ELK. You will have 7+ years of experience in Cloud (AWS), Release Pipeline Management, Windows Server and Linux administration, Certificate Management, PowerShell and Bash/Python scripting, Configuration Management and IaC (Ansible/Terraform), DNS and Networking, enterprise Kubernetes experience, and strong Linux skills, with a focus on observability and modern architectures, blue-green/canary deployments, and CI/CD.
