Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Design Validation and Test Engineer to join the LV Test and Validation team. The team verifies the reliability, electrical performance, and compliance of low-voltage vehicle electronics and works with LVEE hardware design engineers and internal and external laboratories to generate decision-ready validation evidence. Responsibilities include verifying hardware via component-level testing, DVT, functional verification, LV124 electrical testing, and developing hardware test systems, ECU simulations, test sequences, and automated results reports. You will maintain test setups, plans, results, and issue records in Confluence and JIRA to keep validation decisions traceable, investigate test failures, identify root causes, and verify corrective actions. You will also explore advanced measurement techniques to improve repeatability, accuracy, and schedule delivery.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years of hardware testing experience; automotive experience is a plus. Experience with GMW3172, ISO 16750, IEC 60068 and related environmental testing standards is preferred, along with hands-on use of thermal chambers, DMMs, power supplies, oscilloscopes, DAQ systems, and related test equipment. Familiarity with Gigabit Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I2C, LIN, A2B, GMSL, Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi is desirable.
