Vinted is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Multiple Accounts team in the Security domain of Vinted Marketplace. The role focuses on building account models and registration journeys that support different usage modes, including enabling professional sellers to join and grow through Vinted Pro. The work combines product development, platform thinking, and regulatory complexity, and you will design and implement secure account lifecycles and linked-account capabilities across all platforms, while improving professional-seller onboarding through business registry integrations, VAT validation, and Know Your Business (KYB) requirements. This is a cross-functional team with greenfield work alongside existing systems. You will contribute to the technical foundations of how Vinted represents and manages different account types. You will own features end-to-end, participate in system design reviews, write and review RFCs, help balance trade-offs between delivery, reliability, and long-term maintainability, and ensure compliance with data protection and legal requirements.
