We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join On's Commercial Technology team in London to design, build, deploy, test and operate scalable backend services powering our global e-commerce platform, B2B partner portals, and retail experiences. You will design, build, and scale critical services, collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features, and own components within the Commercial cluster. You will deploy and operate services in a cloud-native environment on Google Cloud Platform using Kubernetes and Docker. A strong background in Node.js and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in NestJS and GraphQL APIs, is required, along with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and cloud/containerization technologies.
