Project Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The Production Test Engineer will support test operators and operations by coordinating, maintaining, and improving testing hardware and software capabilities for propulsion subsystems, including PCBAs, feed systems, electric propulsion thrusters, tanks, and integrated propulsion systems. The role is to ensure test coverage at production rates by coordinating tests, training operators, resolving test nonconformances, building additional test stations, and implementing methods to optimize testing. Weekend support may be required after a weekday onboarding period.

Key responsibilities include: disposing and resolving test failures and flight hardware non-conformances; improving test automation, data acquisition, and data analysis to boost test efficiency and cycle times; working with hardware subsystem owners to ensure test coverage across flight hardware design update cycles; refining test requirements and the methodologies to test against those requirements; training operators in the execution of developed testing and processes.
