Position: Information Security Manager Department: Technology Security Division, Information Technology Department Reports To: Chief Information Security Officer

Summary The City of Oklahoma City is seeking an Information Security Manager to lead the City’s cybersecurity program. The role will be responsible for implementing new security initiatives, managing city-wide cybersecurity efforts, risk assessment and mitigation, and developing and executing system recovery plans to ensure information system readiness and continuity of government operations. This position is cyber security sensitive and requires compliance with CJIS policies and related background checks.

Responsibilities - Identify and foster skills needed to implement, maintain, and use security technologies. - Oversee enterprise-wide issue resolution and provide cybersecurity support for City systems. - Assess risk associated with technical decisions and make risk-based recommendations. - Develop a strategic vision for cybersecurity at the department level aligned with City objectives. - Coordinate staff training on security policy and compliance. - Develop program goals, prepare administrative reports and budgets. - Collaborate with system users, department managers, technical staff, vendor representatives, and other agencies. - Perform designee functions in the absence of the Chief Information Security Officer. - Perform other duties as assigned.
