Prosperity Bank is seeking an Information Security Assurance Analyst to serve as a second line of defense by assessing cybersecurity controls, evaluating risk management effectiveness, performing assurance activities, and monitoring compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, regulatory requirements, and industry frameworks. The analyst will conduct cybersecurity risk and control assessments, evaluate control design and operating effectiveness, monitor remediation activities, and provide objective analysis, reporting, and recommendations to support risk-informed decision-making. This position collaborates with Information Technology, Enterprise Risk Management, Information Security, and business stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity governance, risk management, and control oversight across the Bank. Responsibilities include evaluating cybersecurity controls, technology architectures, and governance processes; assessing risk associated with technology initiatives and third parties; identifying and prioritizing risk exposures; reviewing evidence of control implementation; validating closure of findings; developing assurance reports and risk observations; and serving as a subject matter expert during regulatory examinations and audits.
