About The Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a small, talented group of engineers across backend, frontend, data/AI and infrastructure as we build an AI-native platform for crisis management and decision support. You will help us turn high-stakes problems into reliable systems that work when things go wrong. What you will do: What you bring:

Lead and support engineers across backend, frontend, data/AI and infrastructure
Help the team stay focused on the right problems and ship useful features at a sustainable pace
Maintain coherent technical direction as the platform grows
Ensure reliability, security and robustness are built in from the start
Collaborate with product, founders and domain experts to turn ideas into working systems
Set up simple, lightweight planning and collaboration processes
Participate in hiring and growing the team and foster an inclusive culture
Evolve how we work as the company grows while preserving speed and ownership
Experience leading or coaching software engineers
Strong technical background and system-level intuition
Comfort working across different stacks and problem areas
Experience with cloud, infrastructure or dev-ops (or a strong interest)
Pragmatic mindset: know when to aim for good enough and when to push further
Clear communicatio
