The Community Manager role focuses on partnering with multiple HOA Boards in the San Diego area to develop goals and deploy strategic plans to meet those goals, manage major projects, and maintain strong relationships with Boards. The Community Manager brings industry expertise in management practices, accounting, personnel practices, and governing documents, with knowledge of CC&Rs and Bylaws, inventory and procurement, contract relations, maintenance, and safety. Responsibilities include assisting Boards in developing operational strategy, implementing goals, and reporting progress; maintaining client relationships by serving as liaison between Boards and the management company; developing fiscal management policies and budgets, reviewing financial reports, and monitoring expenditures; overseeing vendor bidding processes and managing delinquencies; preparing annual budgets and assessing expenditure needs; ensuring compliance with governing documents and applicable codes. Additional duties include maintaining communications with Boards, producing weekly/monthly reports and action item lists, and preparing Board meeting materials and attending meetings (Executive Session and General Session).
