Position: Catering Sales Manager

Overview: The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for targeting and coordinating catering sales efforts, developing quality leads, and driving growth in catering revenue. The role focuses on expanding existing business and soliciting new catering opportunities through lead generation and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: - Provide friendly, service-oriented interactions with guests and team members. - Sell, plan, and coordinate all special events while delivering the highest level of customer service. - Generate revenue by establishing new accounts, managing booking space, securing repeat business, and conducting catering sales presentations and calls. - Communicate with clients before events to negotiate and finalize contracts for all catered functions. - Coordinate catering support services (flowers, entertainment, decorations, A/V, etc.) to ensure complete client satisfaction. - Verify event details against specifications and coordinate with relevant departments. - Maintain knowledge of hotel layout and menus with pricing; respond to inquiries by phone or walk-ins. - Keep inventory and requisition supplies as needed; relay last-minute changes to appropriate departments. - Use the hotel's Sales and Catering software system; attend training and meetings as required.
