Responsibilities include designing, building, and operating test systems for spacecraft avionics components to exercise parts under environmental stress and during acceptance testing; developing Python-based test software to execute procedures, analyze data, and produce test reports; collaborating with Responsible Engineers to define test cases and optimize testing strategies; crafting comprehensive test plans for flight hardware and managing qualification, acceptance, and proto-flight tests; coordinating with avionics test and manufacturing engineers to standardize software behavior, user interfaces, and data reporting; contributing to best practices and automation; and developing HITL testbeds to simulate spacecraft on the ground and ensure mission readiness.
