Joanknecht in Eindhoven is looking for an Assistant Accountant. In this hybrid role you will start your day with your buddy to review the weekly plan. You’ll work on preparing interim reports for our SMB clients, process administration, verify bank statements, and post invoices in Exact Online. When you have questions, you’ll discuss them with a colleague or your buddy. The day continues with a client meeting, where an experienced colleague helps you review financial processes and provide the client with insights into the numbers. This is a great opportunity to learn how to advise clients. This position also involves hands-on work at a major retail client to prepare the year-end accounts, ensuring figures are correct and delivering a well-prepared report with your team. You’ll answer questions about how investments are booked in the administration, and brainstorm with colleagues about upcoming client visits. At day’s end you’ll confirm that all tasks on your to-do list are completed and note follow-ups for tomorrow.
