BEUMER Group is seeking a Senior Accountant II to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of monthly financial reporting and close activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented accounting professional with broad accounting expertise, strong systems and process knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment. Responsibilities include: preparing and posting daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries; preparing, reviewing, and analyzing balance sheet reconciliations; reviewing and analyzing profit and loss accounts and reclassifying transactions as needed; recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions in accordance with IFRS and company accounting policies; supporting the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports; performing financial analysis, developing reporting schedules, and validating data accuracy through advanced spreadsheet modeling; conducting actual-to-budget and variance analyses; preparing and reconciling intercompany transactions and balances; processing accounts payable related to intercompany activity; assisting with month-end and year-end close activities and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls; participating in special projects and cross-functional accounting assignments; collaborating with various business partners to support organizational objectives; performing additional duties as assigned by the Senior Accounting Manager or Senior Director of Finance.
