About the role

TaxRise is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to offer coordination and onboarding preparation. Working closely with hiring managers and the People Operations team, you will ensure every candidate has a professional, welcoming experience from first contact to first day. This is a 100% on-site role based in Irvine, California.

Responsibilities

Own the candidate experience by coordinating pre-screen interviews and communicating with candidates at every stage
Greet and host candidates during in-person interviews to create a professional atmosphere
Manage scheduling and logistics for interviews across departments
Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and direct outreach
Review resumes and align candidates to role requirements and criteria
Maintain accurate candidate records in Greenhouse (ATS)
Ensure offers are entered correctly and hand-offs are smooth
Partner with hiring managers to understand role needs and keep pipelines moving
Provide regular updates on candidate status and pipeline activity
Promote recruiting best practices and a consistent hiring experience
Support employer branding and onboarding, including updating job descriptions and recruiting templates

Requirements

1-2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, ideally in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
Hands-on experience with an ATS; Greenhouse experience is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication with a candidate-first mindset
Excellent organizational skills and ability to
