Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement throughout manufacturing operations. This position provides technical leadership by partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, and customers to improve product quality, reduce variation, eliminate waste, and ensure compliance with AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Engineer leads root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions, process improvements, and quality system initiatives while serving as the primary quality representative for assigned value streams.

This position provides technical leadership by partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, and customers to improve product quality, reduce variation, eliminate waste, and ensure compliance with AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Engineer leads root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions, process improvements, and quality system initiatives while serving as the primary quality representative for assigned value streams.
Position Duties Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to: - Provide daily quality engineering support for assigned manufacturing value streams. - Lead investigations of internal and external nonconformances using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.). - Develop, implement, and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities and disposition of nonconforming material. - Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and improve process performance. - Develop and maintain Process Control Plans, Inspection Plans, and quality documentation. - Support First Article Inspection (AS9102) activities and product validation. - Review engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to ensure manufacturing compliance. - Participate in Engineering Change Order (ECO) review
