Summit Point Raceway Associates, INC. is seeking a Controller to lead the company's accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls across its government contracting and commercial activities in Summit Point, West Virginia. The Controller will manage the accounting department, support budgeting and financial planning, and coordinate audits and tax preparation. Key responsibilities include managing the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management; maintaining the chart of accounts; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; and overseeing month-end and year-end close. The role requires ensuring GAAP compliance and adherence to company policies, supporting annual audits, and coordinating with external auditors. Government contracting duties include FAR/CAS/SCA compliance, monitoring contract funding and billing, supporting DCAA audits, and overseeing indirect rates and cost allocations. Additional duties include budgeting and variance analysis, financial analysis to support executive decisions, and initiatives to improve processes and automate workflows. The Controller will lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting collaboration across departments and driving continuous improvement.
