Vortex Industries, a leader in doors, security products, storefront glazing, access controls, and material handling equipment for commercial, industrial, and retail facilities, is seeking a dynamic Contract Recruiter for a three-month assignment at our Irvine, California headquarters, with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. The recruiter will collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Leader and Hiring Managers to identify future hiring needs and build a strong candidate pipeline across multiple roles. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates via databases and social networks, posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting interviews using reliable recruiting methods, assessing candidates' knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes, applying HR recruiting best practices, building influential candidate relationships, and promoting the company's brand. Requirements include full-cycle recruitment experience, ability to conduct various interview types, familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (Paylocity is a plus), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong decision-making, ability to work independently and in a team, and availability to work in an office at the Irvine headquarters from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The position is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension based on performance. Compensation is a competitive hourly salary based on experience.
