HR Manager – voco Ras al-Khaimah (Pre-Opening)

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the hotel’s people strategy and HR operations for a voco hotel in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, as part of its pre-opening phase. This is a people-powered role where culture and guest experiences start with the team you help to build.

What you’ll do: - Lead the hotel's people strategy and HR initiatives in line with IHG standards and local UAE employment legislation. - Manage payroll processes and oversee compensation and benefits to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and internal equity. - Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and exit trends to identify opportunities for improvement, engagement, and development. - Prepare, analyse, and communicate monthly HR reports to support informed business decisions. - Oversee the HR department’s budget and office resources. - Drive recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and lifecycle activities to create exceptional colleague experiences while bringing IHG’s BrandHearted culture to life. - Lead performance management by coaching leaders, supporting development conversations, and promoting continuous feedback and high performance. - Recruit, train, motivate, coach, and develop the HR team to achieve departmental goals. - Promote colleague engagement, recognition, wellbeing programmes, and inclusive workplace practices. - Plan and act on annual colleague engagement surveys with meaningful action plans. - Oversee colleague facilities (cafeteria, lockers, public areas, smoking areas) and maintain high standards of welfare.
