Autoliv is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to drive customer quality excellence by leading the resolution of customer concerns and delivering effective solutions that support quality and business objectives. You will ensure customer requirements are respected, manage customer complaints with structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa), gather traceability information, analyze returns and warranty claims, and monitor quality performance metrics. The role requires collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, supplier quality, and production teams to resolve quality issues, support internal and external audits, and participate in new product launches to meet customer quality requirements. Responsibilities also include preparing and presenting quality reports and action plans, driving continuous improvement through KPI monitoring, and ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements, industry standards, and internal processes. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automotive or related field), at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality, knowledge of quality tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP), advanced English, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The role is based on-site in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania, in an international environment that supports career and personal development.
