The role supports Accounting managers in routine department processes, resolves general ledger reconciliation issues, and assists in preparing timely financial statements and analyses for management. Key responsibilities include performing complex accounting processes and reconciliations under limited supervision, liaising with internal departments and external parties, preparing adjusting and closing entries, researching unusual variances, posting and reconciling subsidiary ledgers, and supporting the development and testing of reconciliation automation. The role also involves contributing to more advanced financial planning and control techniques and assisting in the preparation of financial statements for internal and regulatory purposes. Travel to branches and outside vendors is required as part of the role.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 4–6 years of accounting or finance experience, with 1 year at a large financial institution preferred.
