Overview: The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) team within Google Public Sector’s National Security and Defense group is expanding its Field Sales Organization. This role drives new business for Google Cloud solutions, including GCP, GWS Advanced AI, Gemini for Government, Vertex AI, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and cybersecurity architectures, with cabinet-level Federal Law and security agencies to help them leverage data to achieve mission outcomes.

Overview: The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) team within Google Public Sector’s National Security and Defense group is expanding its Field Sales Organization. This role drives new business for Google Cloud solutions, including GCP, GWS Advanced AI, Gemini for Government, Vertex AI, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and cybersecurity architectures, with cabinet-level Federal Law and security agencies to help them leverage data to achieve mission outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead from prospect to close, building credibility with senior decision-makers (CIOs, CISOs, CTOs) and technical practitioners; partner with internal Customer Engineers, Principal Architects, and Partner Sales Managers to develop and execute comprehensive account plans; collaborate with premier partner ecosystems to drive partner-attached opportunities and accelerate pipeline growth; develop strategic plans to achieve business goals. Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 10 years in quota-carrying field sales selling technologies to federal law and national security agencies; experience with cloud-based solutions (XAAS, SAAS, IAAS, PAAS), enterprise software, AI, big data, analytics, and cybersecurity; ability to navigate multiple decision-makers. Preferred: Experience with federal procurement vehicles (GWAC such as GSA, SEWP, IDIQ) and fluency in cloud compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, NIST, CJIS); ability to articulate value of cloud ecosystems, data analytics pipelines, and sovereign security postures to Federal Agency leaders; ability to plan and implement territory business
