The role involves communicating with players through social media, creating impactful community content, and gathering and relaying feedback to inform cross-functional decision-making. Community Managers collaborate with Community Development, Social Media, Production, and Marketing to align priorities and messaging, strengthen the relationship between players and the brand, and help define and execute the community plan for the brand(s). You will create player-facing resources, coordinate with internal production to deliver assets, and develop programs to identify key influencers and leverage them to evangelize the game. You’ll assess community sentiment, report insights to internal partners, and devise contests and events while managing prize fulfillment. Additional responsibilities include encouraging user-generated content and building loyalty within the community. The ideal candidate is passionate about gaming, highly skilled in digital communication, and experienced in managing online communities across multiple platforms, with a strong understanding of live-service games and current social media trends.
