Join Kaluza as a Senior Software Engineer I in Paris, France (hybrid). You will write clean, production-grade TypeScript/Node.js code to build and extend Kaluza’s Energy Intelligence Platform for major clients, including ENGIE, taking ownership of features from concept to deployment. You will build and maintain scalable AWS Serverless applications (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) and design event-driven microservices with real-time data streaming via Kafka. You will explore opportunities to embed AI into the platform and software development lifecycle, including LLM-powered automation and AI-assisted workflows, while sharing learnings across teams. You will champion engineering quality through thorough code reviews and by mentoring junior engineers in TypeScript, serverless patterns, and AI development. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to refine features, estimate tasks, and deliver value predictably. Ideal candidates will have strong TypeScript/Node.js experience, experience with AWS Serverless architectures, and familiarity with Kafka; an AI mindset; problem-solving ability; Agile practices; and excellent collaboration and communication skills.
