Big Talk Studios, a leading scripted television production company and part of the ITV Studios family, is seeking a commercially minded and technically strong Finance Manager to join the London team on a permanent, part-time basis. The role will focus on management reporting, group reporting, financial control, and business partnering. Location: London, United Kingdom. Work arrangement: Hybrid (two days in the office; three days per week across four days; typical schedule is Monday to Thursday in the office with an option to work from home on Fridays).

About the role

Big Talk Studios, a leading scripted television production company and part of the ITV Studios family, is seeking a commercially minded and technically strong Finance Manager to join the London team on a permanent, part-time basis. The role will focus on management reporting, group reporting, financial control, and business partnering. Location: London, United Kingdom. Work arrangement: Hybrid (two days in the office; three days per week across four days; typical schedule is Monday to Thursday in the office with an option to work from home on Fridays).

Key qualifications include ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifications (or part-qualified with significant relevant experience); month-end close and management reporting experience; strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage or similar). Experience in at least three of the following areas: payroll, VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, cash flow forecasting; plus demonstrated ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

Desirable background includes experience in media, TV production or other fast-paced industries; strong attention to detail; proactive, with the ability to spot opportunities to improve value; experience mentoring junior team members; and the ability to work in a deadline-driven, changing environment.
