Pointer is offering an on-site apprenticeship for a Fire and Security Engineer based in Glasgow, United Kingdom. As an apprentice you will work alongside experienced engineers to install, service and fault-find CCTV, access control, fire detection, intruder alarms, ANPR and IP-based technologies across a range of premises. You will follow health and safety procedures, listen to instructions from senior engineers and supervisors, operate power tools, work at height, and deliver professional customer service on client sites. You will attend college and complete the Fire, Emergency & Security Systems (FESS) Apprenticeship. Training is provided by Skills for Security, with block release at our Glasgow centre (one week every eight weeks, Tuesday to Friday). You will work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification. Your employer supports you on site as you train and progress.
