Emota is seeking a Meetings and Events Project Manager to oversee global meetings, events, and congress participation for pharmaceutical clients. You will ensure each event is profitable, compliant, and meets clients’ and teams’ expectations, handling all logistical elements and budget management with support from a Project Executive who will manage attendee participation. This role includes national and international travel and involves client, partner, supplier, and financial management throughout the delivery lifecycle (pre-event, on-site, and post-event).
Project Management: Manage venues and logistical arrangements for congress attendance, business centers, dinners, breakout sessions, housing blocks, and attrition; manage congress sponsorship activities in coordination with the client contracting team and booth providers; coordinate client requirements with third-party suppliers and internal service teams; prepare and circulate important communications such as weekly status reports; travel on-site to conduct site inspections and planning meetings with suppliers; manage post-event metric reporting. Client Liaison and Development: Deliver exemplary customer service aligned with clients’ goals; plan, attend, and conduct client planning meetings—face-to-face, hybrid, and virtual—including debriefs. Financial Management: Prepare and maintain event budgets throughout the lifecycle; approve invoices; monitor cash flow; manage scope and bill for out-of-scope activities; track cost avoidance/savings; ensure compliance with invoicing processes; manage cross-
