Mercantile Team Lead – Morenci, Arizona (On-site)

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Morenci is an open-pit copper mining complex that has operated since 1939. The site includes two concentrators, a crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a ROM leaching system, four SX plants, and three EW tank houses producing copper cathode.

What You Will Do - Assist in all aspects of the operation including guest relations, staff supervision and development, sales and marketing, budgeting and sales projections. - Help improve business performance by setting and meeting sales goals; forecast supply and demand using past performance and market conditions. - Coordinate general business management, customer relations and marketing to ensure efficiency and profitability. - Maintain high standards of quality control and health and safety; manage costs; control inventory; ensure safety warnings are posted. - Lead and coach staff; provide training to meet performance objectives; manage office duties such as tracking, ordering, scheduling, and invoicing. - Prioritize tasks and adjust workloads; understand products and services; develop new prospects and align with customer needs; stay current in sales methods. - Assist with budgeting, analyze year-over-year and month-to-month sales history, and provide feedback on sales and labor estimates. - Develop cost-saving strategies to increase profit and manage labor costs. - Prepare end-of-day reports and ensure tills
