Automation Engineer IV
CRB is seeking a Senior Automation, Instrumentation and Controls (AIC) Engineer to lead the design, documentation, and field implementation of high-performance control systems for manufacturing projects in the life sciences and food & beverage industries. As part of a multi-discipline team, you will apply your expertise in mechanical system controls and process automation to deliver solutions that meet regulatory standards and client objectives.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Interface with clients and external partners; plan and direct work; manage project budgets from a discipline design perspective on large complex projects.
- Support proposal development, man-hour planning, and project scheduling for the discipline scope.
- Conduct and lead field surveys of existing conditions and prepare field reports; identify and resolve non-compliant conditions during site walks.
- Develop internal discipline design and engineering training materials; produce construction drawing packages and write construction specifications for complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Provide lead and advanced support of construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch lists, and progress reports.
- Perform quality checks of documents for complex projects, ensuring design calculations and documentation meet standards; mentor junior engineers and designers; lead a discipline team in project execution.
