This is a working controller position in a lean, high-performing environment — own the accounting function and be a key voice in how the business uses financial data to make decisions.

What you'll do - Own the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. - Prepare and present financial statements to ownership and leadership. - Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures. - Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Provide financial analysis that goes beyond reporting — identifying trends, opportunities, and risks. - Support due diligence and financial modeling related to capital investments and potential acquisitions. - Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations. - Work closely with ownership on strategic financial decisions. - Lead cash management and rolling cash flow forecasting to support the company's financial health and growth objectives. - Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and external financial reporting while serving as the primary liaison for auditors and tax advisors.
