About the role
Fandom is seeking a People Operations Manager based in Poznan, Poland, to lead the local People Operations team and drive all people support functions in Poland. This autonomous, dual-impact role balances strategic direction with hands-on execution, serving as the local expert on Polish labor law, GDPR compliance, leave management, and evolving employment policies, while partnering with the US-based HRBP team to provide culturally informed guidance.
Responsibilities
HR Tech & AI Innovation: What you have:
- Lead and mentor a small team of 2–3 People Operations Analysts, setting clear performance goals and fostering continuous growth.
- Translate global initiatives into actionable local operational plans and manage day-to-day Polish People Operations independently.
- Ensure local statutory compliance and maintain strong employee relations.
- Administer Rippling as the core HRIS for the Poland team and optimize data accuracy.
- Leverage AI features within Greenhouse and other platforms to streamline recruiting and coordinator workflows.
- Design and implement automated processes using AI tools (Gemini, Claude) to reduce manual work.
- Fluent in English and Polish (spoken and written).
- 7+ years in People Operations/HR, including at least 3 years leading a team.
- Deep knowledge of Polish labor laws, statutory benefits, and local compliance requirements.
- Experience with modern HR systems (Rippling and Greenhouse preferred).
- Comfort with AI tools to improve policies, workflows, or automation.
