Physician Recruiter needed to join ARH System in Hazard, Kentucky, United States. This role is responsible for recruiting physicians, physician extenders, and CRNAs for ARH System and its communities. The recruiter will build and maintain candidate pipelines by specialty, coordinate on-site candidate visits with local physician recruiting teams, and interact with external recruiting agencies engaged by ARH. The position also plans and executes events with local universities to educate potential candidates about ARH career opportunities and develops relationships with university program leadership and program directors. Responsibilities include recruiting both employed and non-employed physicians, physician extenders, and CRNAs; researching recruitment opportunities through national physician conferences and online portals; screening and evaluating applicants; determining candidate suitability; conducting reference and background checks; maintaining candidate listings; attending external recruitment functions; preparing reports; and representing ARH professionally. Travel is required, up to 75% of the time, including evenings and weekends as needed. A Bachelor's degree and prior physician recruiting or hospital management/clinic experience are preferred.
