The role focuses on acquiring new business, expanding existing accounts, and delivering comprehensive logistics solutions to meet customers' needs. Responsibilities include creating and executing a strategic sales plan, maintaining knowledge of services and competitive offerings, presenting the full range of logistics solutions to customers, preparing quotes, and collaborating with the Capacity Procurement team to ensure loads are serviced as agreed. The position requires strong relationship-building skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and fluency in English. Qualifications include at least 5 years of experience in logistics and transportation, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, experience with various modes (dry van, expedited, flatbed, oversized loads, refrigerated, intermodal), and familiarity with freight management software (McLeod and Cargowise preferred).
