You will partner with Account Executives to deliver technical and business value of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to customers in Spain and Portugal. You will become a champion in big data analytics, guiding architecture, design, and implementation to drive platform adoption. You will author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications, and help grow the Databricks community in the region through workshops, seminars, and meetups. You will engage customers in technical sales, build internal partnerships with account teams, and communicate complex technical value propositions. Required: based in Madrid (within commuting distance for hybrid work), travel up to 50% (primarily for customer meetings in Portugal, events, and trainings), native proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish, and business English. Preferred: experience with Python/Java/Scala, Spark, and hands-on Big Data Analytics on cloud platforms, and the ability to deliver architecture designs to multiple audiences.
