With a growing fleet and expanding network of terminals, we are seeking a Driver Recruiter who can identify qualified CDL drivers, build genuine relationships, and keep our trucks moving. In this role, you will own the full recruitment cycle for CDL drivers—from sourcing and screening through onboarding—and serve as the primary contact for drivers considering a career with Charger. This is a high-volume, fast-paced position that thrives on connecting with people and closing hires. Responsibilities include managing full-cycle recruitment for CDL drivers across assigned lanes and terminals; sourcing candidates through job boards, internal ATS, cold calling, text outreach, and past applicants; screening candidates by reviewing MVR, PSP, and Clearinghouse records, verifying employment history, and confirming CDL endorsements; conducting interviews to assess fit and experience; coordinating drug screens, background checks, and road tests with safety teams; guiding candidates through onboarding details, pay structure, dispatch handoff, and start-date logistics; building lasting relationships with drivers post-hire to support retention; tracking requisitions and hiring metrics across multiple roles; and monitoring market pay and competitor postings to stay competitive. Requirements include 3–5 years in safety and training in transportation preferred; experience in driver training, recruitment, and safety/compliance; experience hiring drivers across multiple states
