Intuitive Machines is seeking a Test Engineer to join our Assembly Integration and Test (AI&T) team in Houston, Texas. The role will support the integration, assembly, and testing of spaceflight vehicles at the subassembly and vehicle levels. Responsibilities include developing assembly and test procedures, setting up and performing tests of spaceflight components, and supporting integrated testing (load, vibration, thermal, actuator tests) while documenting and submitting final results. The engineer will help develop designs and solutions to integration and testing issues that may arise.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields - 5–7 years of experience in structural testing - Familiarity with assembly tools (torque wrenches, calipers, etc.) and with spaceflight and commercial specifications for materials, processes, fasteners, mechanical components, connectors, and wiring - Experience with Microsoft Office - Experience with CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus - Familiarity with standard practices for assembly and environmental testing of hardware and the tooling/ground support equipment - Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or aviation industries is a plus - Effective verbal and written communication - Ability to work in a collaborative team environment - Creative problem-solving approach
