Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Group Sales Manager to join our resort hotel's on-site sales team in Clearwater, Florida. This individual contributor will be responsible for generating new group and corporate business throughout Florida's Corporate and Southeast territories while maintaining and growing existing client relationships. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in hotel sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and a consultative approach to business development. Experience selling luxury or resort hotels is preferred, and Marriott experience is a plus. The hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Seaway Hotel Corporation; the franchisee is a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.

Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals. - Prospect, solicit, and secure new group and corporate business within assigned territories. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, meeting planners, corporate clients, third-party planners, and industry partners. - Conduct regular sales calls, virtual meetings, site visits, and client presentations to generate new business opportunities. - Attend trade shows, conventions, industry events, and in-market sales missions to cultivate new business and strengthen existing relationships. - Negotiate contracts and pricing while maximizing revenue and ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. - Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams
