Essential Duties: - Knowledge of alcoholism, chemical dependency, addiction, co-dependency, and related disorders. - Design and implement complex treatment programs and discharge plans; conduct intensive or comprehensive interventions. - Assume independent clinical responsibility for all offenders, including crisis intervention, suicide prevention, recognizing abnormal behavior, and taking action to prevent or diffuse potentially disruptive situations. - Collaborate with supervisors or other psychiatric, social work, or medical professionals on case-related issues to maintain continuity of care and support therapeutic and restorative goals through individual and group counseling. - Conduct evaluation tests for offenders to determine needs, establish goals, and develop plans; refer to contract professionals for assessment and treatment of offenders. - Provide recommendations regarding discharge plans; make case presentations; assist program director and treatment team. - Maintain and monitor confidentiality of offenders and review status. - Attend scheduled staff meetings; promote proper
