Apprentice Security Engineer
We are a small family-run security company specializing in social housing door entry systems, access control, and CCTV. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain, and fault-find on access control, video surveillance, and intruder alarm systems. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem solving, and learning new technical skills in varied environments. You will be based in the London area (Greater London) with on-site work.

Entry requirements: - Driving licence - Maths and English at the required level - Must be from the London area (Clapham area desirable) - Must pass an enhanced DBS check
Training: - Training provided by Skills for Security - Block release at our London-area centre, one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday) - You will work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining a recognised qualification
What you'll do: - Train hands-on with real systems - Learn from industry experts - Complete a wide range of tasks and projects - Build evidence from your work to support learning - Sit annual assessments at the centre - Employer supports you on site; focus on training and progression
