CoLab is seeking a Senior Software Developer to help build our next-generation simulation review capabilities. This role focuses on ingesting simulation data, developing high-performance visualization experiences, and connecting engineering decisions to the data.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Design and build CoLab's next-generation simulation review features.
Build services to ingest and process simulation data from industry-standard engineering software (FEA, CFD, multiphysics).
Develop high-performance visualization capable of handling large simulation datasets.
Partner with Product, Design, and customers to validate ideas before building them.
Spend time embedded with the Engineering Reviews team to understand current workflows and shape the foundation for the Simulation team.
Contribute to architectural decisions that will guide this product area for years to come.
Improve performance, scalability, and reliability as simulation capabilities grow.
Collaborate with engineers across the platform to ensure simulation is a seamless part of the CoLab experience.
8+ years of production software experience in a modern engineering environment.
Strong experience designing scalable backend systems and customer-facing applications.
Experience building complex data visualization or graphics-intensive applications.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with teammates.
A product mindset—focusing on customer outcomes as well as technical implementation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
