Gear Project Manager — Remote position based in King of Prussia, PA. As the leader of the switchgear project team, you will ensure project success for the client and Colonial Electric, serving as the customer-facing contact after order commitment. You will coordinate all project activities—including understanding and meeting timelines, developing the bill of materials (BOM), submitting product details for approval, and entering shipping information into Jobtrack. You will respond to customer inquiries and input data to keep the process moving. Core responsibilities include reviewing switchgear specifications and drawings, requesting pricing and lead times, producing comprehensive proposals, accurately cost-estimating projects, maximizing sales profitability, following up with customers on quotes, evaluating existing blueprints for value-added services, reviewing submittal approvals and updates, tracking design changes and addenda, and collaborating with Sales, Project Management, customers, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; ability to work overtime; strong problem-solving skills.
