Bergey's Inc. is seeking an Automotive Controller to lead the accounting department for the company's three auto dealerships in the Souderton, Pennsylvania area. Responsibilities include overseeing accounting practices and internal controls across all departments, maintaining accurate accounting schedules, and preparing monthly financial statements within dealership guidelines. Manage time records, vehicle deals, commissions, vehicle inventory, and other posted documents; collaborate with dealership management to maximize efficiency and data integrity; prepare monthly commission sheets for sales and finance teams; conduct monthly performance meetings; work with corporate colleagues on reconciliations (including floorplan and finance reserves); assist with bank reconciliations; serve as a resource for accounting-related questions across departments; ensure compliance with government finance regulations and maintain required forms; stay updated on industry bulletins; manage third-party systems such as OEM sites. Requirements include Automotive Office Manager or Automotive Staff Accountant experience, managerial experience preferred, excellent Excel and analytical skills, strong communication, professional appearance, and valid driver's license with background checks.
