Overview: The Inside Parts Sales Representative uses product knowledge, customer service, and interpersonal skills to satisfy General Equipment’s parts needs efficiently. Working with product managers, inventory control, and service personnel, the role will build knowledge through on-site, in-house, and self-study training opportunities. Primary duties include handling inbound calls from customers and Product Support Sales employees, assisting in procurement, stocking, and receiving of construction and aggregate machinery parts; becoming proficient in online supplier parts systems to locate and order parts; building knowledge of existing product lines, service standards, and procedures; acquiring parts and other items from vendors in and around the Williston area in a safe and professional manner; assisting in data collection for inventory decisions with the Parts Manager; attending local, regional, and national parts training seminars as requested by company management; maintaining positive relationships with service and administrative departments; and performing other duties as directed by the Parts Manager and Branch Management.
