Twilio is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to advance the consistency and quality of the R&D analytics data layer and accelerate the development velocity of analysts. You will design and maintain a robust analytics data layer that enables trusted reporting on R&D metrics, collaborating with Data Science & Analytics, Product, and Engineering to define metric definitions and data lineage. You will develop automated data reconciliation and quality checks, lead investigations into complex data anomalies, and mentor team members on data modeling, testing, documentation, and code reviews. Requirements include 4-5 years of analytics engineering or data engineering experience; strong SQL; hands-on experience with AWS Glue or similar technologies; ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to codify and reconcile key business metrics. Desired: 5+ years in analytics engineering or related fields; Python; distributed computing (Hive, Presto, Spark); Looker or Tableau; data quality and testing frameworks (dbt tests, CI/CD, data observability); experience building data culture in a fast-paced tech org. Location: remote; not eligible to hire in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA. Travel: occasional.
